Fabulous find! Very quaint, hidden gem of a tea room with the best staff and homemade cakes. Off the beaten track and free from the hoards of tourists queuing for other more famous tea rooms in the area. Well for now anyway. 😀👍
The carrot cake was to die for. Amazing. Nice and moise. The coffee was to match. Exerlent, friendly service. I'll be back.

Overrated - was going to try rarebit for lunch so sat in the restaurant section (literally next to the cafe but partitioned off), however when I asked the waitress what is was and she said similar to cheese on toast, which came with no salad for over 10pounds I Opted for quiche in the end. Very small quiche arrived heated in some parts and cold in others, with dry bean salad on the side and small portions of carrot and cucumber salad. Saving grace was the chutney and garden view. Don't understand why I had to wait 15mins to be seated having asked to sit outside and there was no-one else in the outside seating area at all. As I left I had to walk through the cafe area and I couldn't believe the same quiche was being served in the cafe (literally the same room) for 8quid vs. the 10 something I paid. Left feeling ripped off
This was recommended to us, because you can experience Betty's without the queuing of the main tea room in Harrogate, service and quality were excellent, we were served and attended to by Graham. An unhurried and totally relaxed afternoon tea was enjoyed. Thank you.

A lovely breakfast event at Bettys! On behalf of myself and the team I would like to thank you and your lovely team at Bettys who did an absolutely sterling job last Friday! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and some even treat themselves with some goodies in the shop too. From the initial enquiry right through to the day, everything was fantastic from start to finish. We got a very warm welcome when we arrived, we were escorted up to our own private room which was beautifully set out over looking the gardens. We were all given a glass of fresh orange on arrival, then followed our delicious breakfast, a warm option and a cold option with plenty of toast for all. We also go a delightful glass of Bucks Fizz to go with our breakfast. Service was quick and efficient, there was not one complaint in the room, everyone loved it and it set us up for our day ahead. Please thank all of your team, they did an amazing job! The service was spot on and the food was beautiful!
Went for afternoon tea. Wonderful experience. You have to queue for a few minutes to get a table, but it is undercover and the queue moves very quickly. I suffer from allergies, the waiter gave me alternative suggestions which were more than satisfactory. You are not rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed the who experience. Highly recommend.

So far this is the best fish and chip shop I've tried in Harrogate. Fish is crispy, batter is light and the quality of the fish is always spot on and breaks perfectly when opened up. Chips are nice and chunky, cooked just enough and like the rest not swimming in oil. I'm unsure what they use at this shop but unlike other shops which fish and chips leave a horrible film on your teeth and lips of fat... you finish your meal satisfied and full! The shop is in a little half C of shops just off the main road, there is parking but limited. Jennys fish and chips is on one level (pavement side) so shouldn't be an issue for those with limited mobility, the counter is quite high but the staff are friendly enough as long as you talk to them 😁 We are regular customers as it is perfect food accompaniments for a supermarket bought lager 🍻
Every time I go back to the UK I stop in, awesome service and chippy. Makes me really feel I’m back at home.

Wonderful pub in the heart of a beautiful town. We both had a local beer which was amazing! & then chose from the menu, all the meal choices were freshly made traditional British, plus vegan & vegetarian dishes! Totally amazed by the whole experience! First British pub i have visited in many years of living abroad. We loved it! 😊🇬🇧💗
A very nice comfortable laid back pub! Good food, a wonderful selection of cold beer !! Great service !!!

First visit. Best "full English breakfast" for a considerable time, backed by fab coffee. Highly recommended from this experience.
Great coffee and a good choice of cakes. Perfect for breakfast or brunch when in Harrogate... If you can get a table, as it's understandably busy.

Certainly well above average for a takeaway. Doesn't taste too processed - it actually looks & tastes pretty fresh. Restaurants aside, this is the best Chinese I've come across in a long time. Will be ordering again soon. Good price, really friendly delivery guy & everything my partner and I ordered was decent-to-lovely...
Good food, reasonably priced and hot

Salt and Pepper combo box are amazing. Enough for 2 people for sure.
I have just taken part in a few Pad Thai Boxes, plus a few sides. So please read on... Firstly, I have used Taste Of China for 20 years. Secondly, prawn crackers were not expected and not delivered. Why fill up on these free items that detract away from the true quality of food that you are about to indulge on! Thank you for not sending me these hunger & taste bud destroyers! Thirdly, I have eaten at many exclusive Restaurants in many countries and I have been served food that was 10x the price of what I paid tonight. The food I indulged on this evening was first class and 9 out of 10. I say 9 because perfection doesn’t exist! but this food was truly amazing this evening. To summarise the above, please try Taste Of China, I highly recommend them. Please don’t order at 7pm on a Saturday evening and complain your free prawn crackers were cold!!! Be respectful and understand that it’s difficult to be perfect under pressure!!! Enjoy your next order....

Excellent takeaway. Well priced, and never a bad dish. Good range of options, including plenty of vegetarian choices.
Probably one of the best and most reasonably priced takeaways in Harrogate. Where else can you get a donner on nan for £3.50. Good size portion that would cost £6 - £7 elsewhere. Currys are great value too and some good and different options from the usual types. Delivery is always within the timescale with polite and friendly drivers. Phone orders through as Just Eat will rip you off with a service charge on all orders.

Fantastic Curry every time! best in the area..
We've tried about 8 indian food delivery restaurants around, many of them several times. Tastes may be different, but that must mean something that our last 50+ orders has been from here...

Chef specials were excellent. Loads of flavour and the perfect level of heat. Ordered the hicken tikka Mirch Keema and Aachari Sultan.

Quality food, couple of bad reviews on here but I've never had a problem,it's spot on!
14/16 Cambridge Rd, Harrogate HG1 1NS, UK – 01423 523544
Much like any other McDonald's, but relatively small ground floor. More space upstairs, which is where the toilets are. Didn't see any lift, so looks like they aren't accessible for anyone who can't use the stairs. Not very busy when I was there; service was quick
It's ok, it's way too small considering how big it gets. The knaresborough one is better. It's also really dirty, grease is all over the tables.

We turned up in the middle of a computer outage which meant they couldn't take our payment, not even cash. Despite that, they took our orders and asked us to pay on the way out, which was much appreciated by all. Typical Five Guys burgers, hot, juicy, good texture in the patties, and tasty. Also typical fries: hot, crispy, and served in overgenerous portions!
First time at Five Guys, and although this is a great store with really friendly staff, I was a little underwhelmed by Five Guys in general. I don’t think that should put you off though, I’m a bunless burger kind of girl so I think I’m probably being swayed by price on the basis that you’re left with less food when the bun is removed (yeah, I love food!). It’s a brilliant concept - the menu is tiny but that’s because they’ve chosen a niche and nailed it. The customisation options are fabulous (especially for my dietary special requests!). The patties are really tasty, toppings were a little sparse - but the lettuce bun wrap was great. I’d visit again, but next time I’d upsize my burger. Don’t expect average fast food prices, because it’s not average fast food.
