A fantastic day out with so much to see and do. Try to get to the show early as you can easily spend the whole day there - there are different events on each day of the show, so you could visit every day! My daughter was particularly interested in the horse events and the Main Arena was the place to be, with show jumping, heavy horses and Lorenzo - The Flying Horseman being the highlight. I strongly recommend a visit to the show.
Super fun day lots to see and one day is not enough. Staff are friendly and very helpful so are most stall holders. Just more disability access availability is needed. Great great place and event.

Beautifuly kept gardens. A nice cafe selling coffee and cakes. On the expensive side, but nice enough. Well kept play area for small and older children. Also crazy golf which was reasonably priced. We often enjoy walking through.
Very nice park, gardens, playground, paddling pool for the family. Parking a bit of a mare, you get three hrs one side of the road and only one on the other? Then you have to move, up the hill out of the parking zone. Japanese gardens are lovely. It was very busy but you didn't have to que long for loos or an ice-cream.

It's a lovely sight to see when on the bus or walking. The greenery and crocuses are a refreshing change to towns nowadays. It used to be kept in a lot better condition than it is now. I realise they have to leave so much uncut grass for wildlife and such, but they don't cut the grass properly and they leave all the cuttings behind which always make it look messy and unkempt. I remember the tidy short green grass days, when it looked classy! , not straw like & tatty.
The stray is beautiful. A great place to sit and chill. To have a picnic. Fly your kite. Walk the dog. Play rounders. Love it.
