Local Bookshops

Really really good coffee. Generous and delicious food portions. Comfortable surroundings. Lovely and friendly staff, and much cheaper than your big coffee chains. I highly recommend.

Good book store experience and a great little cafe upstairs. It can get a bit busy at times and the cafe can be low on seats but that’s because it’s hard to tear yourself away. It is kids and dog friendly. There’s a good section of kids books, puzzles and toys. You can also get hot or cold sandwiches and tasty baked goods at the cafe.

Books For All

23A Commercial St, Harrogate HG1 1UB, UK – 01423 561982

I ordered Michael Whitley's "German Coastal Forces of World War 2", a book I have been after for ages. Clifford very kindly sent me some photos beforehand to see if it it fitted the description "like new". I'm glad to say that it did as the book arrived today in excellent condition having been posted a couple of days before. In view of its condition the book represented good value for money and I would recommend Books for All to anyone looking for rare out of print books at a reasonable price.

Went in on the off chance to find some knitting patterns and found lots and some really good books there too. Guy serving was really helpful and courteous. Suzy
