Dental Surgeries

Total Orthodontics Harrogate

E Parade, Harrogate HG1 5LB, UK – 01423 522555

Really pleased with Roberts Harry dental, I am an anxious patient about to have treatment for Invisalign and I have to say the staff are very friendly and welcoming! Michael in particular is fantastic and I cant recommend him enough to anyone looking to have teeth straightened. All of the staff in general are very helpful and supportive!

My tooth needed an urgent treatment, so I made an appointment. I was told the dentist was on holiday so somebody else gave me a consultant and she said I needed to talk to my dentist. I was charged for that. At the next appointment, I met my dentist and she told me she would try to make a hole in the tooth to examine. Naturally, I was charged for the consultant. And I had another appointment in 3 weeks time. I told the dentist that the painful tooth was porcelain. I doubted her idea to make a hole in it. I couldn't wait the next visit as it was so painful, so went to a private dentist to remove the artificial tooth. It solved the problem right away. The staff at the desk was nice and polite, but I am sorry to say, I just wasted money.

Clover House Dental Practice Ltd

152 Skipton Rd, Harrogate HG1 4LL, UK – 01423 563344

Clover House Dental Practice is brilliant to go to for your dental treatment. As soon as you enter the practice the staff at the reception area are very welcoming and always smiling. The dental staff are excellent. I used to be very scary to go to the dentist honestly staff there have taken my fear away. As soon as you go in they well come you with smile and before they start the treatment they explain to you everything about the treatment. They are all very polite and experienced dentists. They don't rush you to get rid of you they make sure that the patient is comfortable to leave the practice. Practice is very hygienically clean and tidy. I would recommend anybody to go there and keep smiling.

I am new to the practice having moved when my dentist Neil moved from Leeds. I have been twice now and have found the administration / reception staff to be very professional, polite and welcoming and my dentist was brilliant as he always is. His assistant was friendly and good at her job. The second visit was with the hygienist and the two ladies that looked after me were caring, kind and very good . My overall impression of the practice is that it is excellent and worth travelling from Leeds for an appointment to receive good care.

Lovely calm place, with brilliant staff. Great fresh food located in a beautiful area. Everything you could need to get the help to get on the road to recovery. One staff member stood out from all the rest, lovely Mandy will crack a joke and banter with you all night.

A family member has been here for relatively long stays on two seperate occasions now, through referral from the nhs. Cannot fault the care recieved, the staff or the actual building and facilities available. Truly feel like our family member has been well looked after and made huge improvements, especially in comparison to some of the other places they have been. Huge thanks to all of the staff for all of their hard work, support and care 👍🏼

I have just spent 2 1/2 hours in an extremely busy Harrogate A&E department. I had a simple fracture in my foot. The reception staff, nurses, radiography and doctors were all attentive, calm under the pressure of numbers and considerate to a fault. Thank you all for your care.

Find Recycling Centres

Harrogate Household Waste Recycling Centre

Wetherby Rd, Harrogate HG3 1DE, UK

Easy access friendly staff. Good opening hours. What more can you want from a refuse centre. Have just read the reviews of people who don't like the opening hours because they work. Well go at the weekend then they are open all day Saturday and Sunday. I work full time so use the weekend and find it a fantastic facility

People friendly enough but closing at 4pm is early for most people to use during the working week. Hence Saturday and Sunday always busy as is Wetherby road so its adding to the bottleneck, why not spread the load and open later at least during summer. AND closing the entire day Wednesday, what about shifts and having this open 7 days a week afterall its already open on Sundays so they must have a rota in place.

Excellent service guaranteed.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Quantro Restaurant

Brilliant restaurant. Excellent service, wonderful food, even on the innovative lunchtime specials menu. Love this place.

Consistently good. Quiet respectful and friendly service. Lovely food and an environment with no loud intrusive music. Restaurant is very well established while many others have been and gone. Nice location in Low Harrogate near the Valley Gardens

Restaurant 92

92-, 94 Station Parade, Harrogate HG1 1HQ, UK – 01423 503027

Outstanding food, impeccable presentation and one of the best fine dining taster experiences I've had in a restaurant that hasn't YET got its star! The ambience is just right, for couples and small groups alike and the staff are wonderfully attentive and accommodating and generally just bloody good at their jobs. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I had lunch with my daughter the other day, my third visit. On each the occasion the food was stunning and the service exemplary - attentive, warmly welcoming but also discreet. The surroundings are lovely. My favourite restaurant in Harrogate and considerably further afield.

Orchid Restaurant

28 Swan Rd, Harrogate HG1 2SE, UK – 01423 560425

Over the last 4 years I have spent many nights at the attached hotel and have eaten both dine-in and room service at the Orchid. Without fail the quality of both food and service has been at the top end of the scale. The range of dishes is wide, and the staff are great at advising which combinations work well. I have never had a bad meal here. The restaurant gets busy, so I would highly recommend booking in advance.

There are few words to describe just how good the food and service are in this restaurant,. We had pork belly and soup to start the freshness and flavour of the food was outstanding. Followed by 3 cup duck and red Thai lamb, meat was succulent and well cooked and sauces were full in flavour in both of these accomplished dishes. We would like to thank the great staff as the customer service we seen and experienced by all was worthy of an extra star.

Primary and Secondary Schools

St John Fisher Catholic High School

Hookstone Dr, Harrogate HG2 8PT, UK – 01423 887254

My experience here was rather interesting to the part, but there was one student (which I was in a relationship with, we are both 14) that caught my interest "Holly Dallas" she had a certain way of making people like them, like a Venus flytrap. Making yourself feel worth in life drawing you in before closing their trap on you. Abandoning you, abandoning you in an alleyway confronted by three older men with the right intent on harming yourself. I had moderate-serious injures and I believe if you wish to have a relationship with this girl. Be aware of the backlash from it
